Betty Designs x Woof Concept

Woof Concept is excited to announce our collaboration with a boundary-breaking endurance apparel company, Betty Designs, founded and designed by a beautifully fierce woman Kristin Mayer. Kristin gets her kicks from breaking the laws of design + reimagining the infinite possibilities of athletic aesthetics. An athlete and graphic designer with a keen eye for color, Kristin has made her mark by translating her vision into coveted endurance apparel.

Embarking on her design career as a lead footwear designer for L.A. Gear in the early 90s, Kristin stepped out on her own 6 years later to pursue freelance opportunities. Working closely with an elite roster that included No Fear, AVIA, K-Swiss, World Triathlon Corporation, Zoot Sports, Competitor Publishing, Triathlete Magazine, Kestrel bicycles, and rykä. A continued evolution in sport + fashion led her to co-create Her Sports + Fitness magazine, and eventually, Betty Designs.

Founding her wildly successful endurance brand in 2010, Betty Designs has become synonymous with playful patterns, bold wordplay, original collaborations with top endurance brands, elite athletes, and celebrities, and altered the trajectory of women’s triathlon + cycling apparel. The result is a cult following of loyal customers + brand ambassadors known as the BettySquad who jump at the change to grab the latest kit drop.

At Woof Concept we are beyond excited to be diving into such an exciting, playful yet bold collaboration with Kristin. Her enthusiasm for breaking boundaries within the design space of apparel is what drew our team’s attention to share her amazing work with our community. We as Woof Concept work tirelessly to break the design boundaries within the dog industry. This collaboration, if you ask us, is the perfect partnership to push and break boundaries within the human and pet space, together.
