We bought this leash to match a harness we selected, but we were pleasantly surprised to learn about its cool features. Yes, a leash with features! The leash clip has an optional lock that is easy to use. There is no twisting or other action that will unclip the leash from the harness. This is a super feature since we like adventure hikes. As an added bonus the leash has an extra clip feature so you can quickly attach the leash around your waist, a tree, or the like. This gives us a hands free option when hiking or standing. Five stars!
